Back to all work

The UBC Mortensen Research Lab is a proponent of the Mobility Access Participation (MAP) project, which has the aim of removing barriers to access for persons with disabilities within their communities. The Mortensen Research Lab engaged us to develop https://inclusivemap.ca/ to share information about the MAP project.

Consistent with MAP objectives, the site was designed with a focus on accessibility. Inclusive design features include: keyboard navigation, contrasting colours, and image labeling. We used WAVE (the web accessibility evaluation tool https://wave.webaim.org/) to verify our work. To further improve accessibility, the site is fully bilingual.
