CurrentDesign has provided web strategy for The Physiotherapy Association of BC since 2003, earning the association the Canadian Society for Association Executives’ (CSAE) Best National Association Website awards no less than three times, in part for an online outcome measures tool that furthered the association’s goal to support evidence-based practice. PABC continues to demonstrate industry leadership in delivering value to its membership through increased engagement and practice support, while increasing efficiency and revenue generation.

In 2012, we built on our web strategy with a project to further enhance PABC’s engagement with its members. One component of this project added integration between member profiles and Mailchimp email service, enabling tightly focused member communication. The other enabled richer interaction in the secure online community, allowing members to share practice tips and success stories with each other. These two components will work together to achieve our success criteria of increased member activity in our secure online community.

To further serve members, we’ve released the Find a Physio app for Apple and Android devices. The app integrates with website data, so website administrators can update app data from their desktops. The website member database and app is integrated with the national physiotherapy database, ensuring an accurate representation of the profession in BC.

“PABC has enjoyed a fruitful collaboration with CurrentDesign for over a decade, and counting. It is an absolute pleasure to work with the supportive and knowledgeable staff at CurrentDesign. What sets them apart  is their loyalty to clients, innovative problem-solving, and mindfulness of their clients’ strategic direction, goals, and budget. I’ve never hesitated to contact CurrentDesign when I have a question or idea, because I know their staff are always ready to help, and excited to transform our ideas into creative and successful features on our website.”
